Representative Financial Services (RFS) is a Representative Payee for individuals that are not able to manage all their finances. Programs that RFS services include:
RFS will make sure the individual’s basic needs are met including payment of:
Arrangements are made for the individual’s Social Security check to be deposited directly into the Representative Payee bank account each month. Bills are sent directly to the RFS for payment and monthly budget sheets are available to show how funds are spent.In addition, RFS can report changes to Social Security or family members, and is able to provide additional information on other services such as housing subsidies, food stamps, and work incentives.
